The Arbour Holiday Club Visits St Dunstan's & The Holiday Club Prizegiving
The Arbour Holiday Club visited St Dunstan and All Saints Stepney, the young people had a tour of the church, went up the tower to see the bell ringing room and made stained glass windows (from card, tissue and clear sticky back plastic). Many thanks to Julian, Andrew, Sarah, the parents, volunteers and especially Zac who made the visit possible. There was also a prizegiving for the holiday club at Harford Street.

Nine Lessons and Carols 2012
St Dunstan's Nine Lessons and Carols service this year included the Thames Chamber Choir whose music sounded absolutely wonderful in our medieval building. The photos here show the great floral arrangements for Christmas and the many candles placed and lit by Rev'd Chris Morgan which created a tangible atmosphere. One of the highlights of 2012.
Act Change Project Presentation - part of The Arbour
'Act Change' is a really great project run from The Arbour which encourages young people through 'intervention drama' to think of alternative strategies to cope with problems they encounter in everyday life such as bullying, peer pressure and conflicts with parents & teachers. The underlying idea is to consider how modifying your behavior and attitude might change the outcome of situations and relationships. It was very impressive to see young people grasp difficult issues and work out for themselves how to get more positive outcomes. The pictures are from various drama groups run in local schools.
