Details: The Arbour is a charity with local reach in the East End and big ambitions. The Arbour is seeking an exceptional, target-driven individual with strategic insight. We are looking to appoint an outstanding candidate with experience of developing and implementing an innovative grassroots service. The ideal candidate will have the ability to engage in all aspects of community work. This is a new role and would be ideal for someone who is a self-starter with a passion for exploring unknown territories. You will have a proven track record in leading (yes! we mean leading not only managing) services that empower people and change their lives. You will have a passion for community development together with outstanding interpersonal, presentation, negotiation and organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively All Arbour personnel are required to have an enhanced Criminal Record Bureau check which the charity will carry out upon appointment. The job involves occasional work during evenings and weekends. The Arbour is an equal opportunities employer. Details: The Arbour is seeking an imaginative and target-driven Development Officer to develop a new fundraising strategy and to continue to build up the Arbour’s brand. The Arbour is an charity with local reach in the East End and big ambitions. The Arbour is seeking an exceptional, target-driven individual with strategic insight. This is an exciting time for The Arbour, which has ambitious plans to extend the reach of its work in line with the business plan that is currently being developed. We are looking to appoint an outstanding candidate with experience of developing and implementing a successful fundraising strategy as well good working knowledge of social media or PR. This is a new role and would be ideal for someone who is a self-starter with passion for exploring unknown territories. You will have a proven track record in raising significant levels of funding and managing existing and new relationships with high net worth individuals, charitable trusts/foundations and at least one of the following: corporate, public sector, legacies, regular individual giving; event fundraising. You will have a passion for community development together with outstanding interpersonal, presentation, negotiation and organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively. All Arbour personnel are required to have an enhanced Criminal Record Bureau check which the charity will carry out upon appointment. The job involves occasional work during evenings and weekends.
