Everyone is very welcome at the annual celebration of our local patron saint. There is a BBQ and drinks party afterwards to which you're very warmly invited
The Arbour Youth Centre's Easter Holiday Club celebrated another successful project with a local community party. These pictures we're taken early but over a beautiful sunny afternoon we counted an astonishing 630+ people enjoying the party which included: BBQ, bouncy castle, gladiator game, cup cakes, stalls, music and charity car wash run by Silverstone Accident Management. A great time was had by all, proving that the Arbour Youth Centre really is at the heart of the community in Stepney.
A very big thank you to everyone and especially the young people from The Arbour Youth Centre who took part in St Dunstan's spring clean Saturday. The church was dusted from top to bottom, the toys cleaned and reordered and windows in parish room cleaned and the kitchen cupboards thoroughly rationalised. Lunch and refreshments were provided by Julian and Sarah. The whole day was a great example of practical cross community friendship and support. THANK YOU.
Part of the February Half Term Holiday Club was a visit to the Tower of London, it was a bit grey and rainy but the young people still managed to enjoy themselves ...
There was a joint pancake party between The Arbour Youth Centre and St Dunstan's Church. Lots of pancakes were served to young and less young alike .... Thanks to Ian (from the Arbour) and Sarah (from St Dunstan's) who made it happen.
