Stations of the Cross Sarah leads meditations based on Jesus journey to the Cross in Holy Week, from his arrest and trial through to the Crucifixion. It a traditional Lenten activity, each Friday in Lent at 6pm in church.
Charity Lunches We have a simple lunch of soup, bread and cheese together on a Friday and make a small donation, equivalent to what we would have spent on lunch to Christan Aid, who do outstanding work throughout the world. There is a rota at the back of church to provide lunch, attendance is free and this year the Food Bank volunteers are invited to join us as a thank you for all they do helping those in need. Fridays in the Parish Room 1pm to 3pm.
Sunday Lenten Discussion By popular demand this group will meet on Sunday’s during lent after the 10am Mass. You’re invited to tell the group about your favourite hymn and ‘What I Love About This Hymn’ Anglican hymns are rich in faith and theology and this group explores their meaning to us personally. Sunday after the 10am Mass.
